SUMMARY:CANCELLED: Beyond Barbed Wire
DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.\n  \n  \n  \nBeyond Barbed Wire\, Imprisoned Without Trial: The Story of the Japanese Internment in WWII\, lecture presented by Denny Kato \nAnti-Asian violence: a modern-day occurrence? Not at all. Fear\, hatred\, and racism toward the Chinese and Japanese began in the mid 1800’s culminating with the incarceration of over 125\,000 Japanese at the beginning of World War II\, two thirds of whom were US citizens. From the perspective of a third generation Japanese American (Sansei)\, we will discuss the how\, when and why racism landed Americans in what is more accurately described as prison camps\, and what we can do to countermand the effect of anti-Asian violence and racism in America today. \nBorn and raised in Cincinnati\, Ohio\, Denny Kato is third generation Japanese American\, or Sansei. He graduated from Walnut High School\, received a BA from the University of Cincinnati in 1971\, and served in the US Army as a First Lieutenant in military intelligence. After retirement from restaurant management\, what started out for Denny as curiosity about his family history grew into thoroughly researching how people of Japanese descent were forced from their homes during World War II and placed in internment camps. Like the fifteen members of his family\, most were American citizens. \nDenny and his wife\, Janet\, have visited all ten of the internment camps from the Pacific West Coast to the rural Southeast of Arkansas. Since 2019\, Denny has lectured both live and via Zoom for the Art Institute of Cincinnati\, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of South Florida\, Carnegie Mellon University\, Rochester University\, the University of Cincinnati\, Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati\, and Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Cincinnati. \n Register

SUMMARY:Exhibition Opening: “Justice\, Justice You Shall Pursue: The Art and Propaganda of Arthur Szyk" - Virtual Program
DESCRIPTION:This free\, virtual program will highlight the opening of our new exhibition\, “Justice\, Justice\, You Shall Pursue: the Art and Propaganda of Arthur Syzk.” This event will feature a conversation with Rabbi Irvin Ungar\, author and curator of The Arthur Szyk Society in Burlingame\, California.\n \nPolish-Jewish artist Arthur Szyk may be best known for his wartime anti-Nazi illustrations and for the Haggadah he illustrated in the tradition of medieval illuminated manuscripts. A prolific artist\, he created political cartoons and propaganda that took aim at Nazi Germany’s murderous policies.\n \nThe Florida Holocaust Museum newest exhibition features Szyk’s illustrations\, illuminated books\, and other works. The exhibition focuses on his early artwork created before World War II\, including his famous Hagaddah\, and illustrations and propaganda drawn and painted during World War II that ridiculed the Nazis. The exhibition also features works that speak out for social justice and tolerance in the United States as well as works praising American ideals of liberty and justice.\n \nIrvin Ungar\, a former pulpit rabbi and antiquarian bookseller\, has devoted the past quarter-century to scholarship on Arthur Szyk. He has curated and consulted for numerous Szyk exhibitions. He is the author of Arthur Szyk: Soldier in Art (winner of the 2017 National Jewish Book Award)\, co-producer of the documentary film\, “Soldier in Art: Arthur Szyk\,” and the creator and publisher of the luxury limited edition of The Szyk Haggadah.\n \nBe among the first to see the new exhibit in person when you visit The FHM in January. We’ll be open to the public on Fridays\, Saturdays\, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the exception of New Year’s Day (closed). Advanced timed tickets are required to help with social distancing. Reserve yours here: https://thefhm.org/visit/hours.\n \nThank you to Dr. Herbert and Jane Wollowick for generously sharing their collection. \nThis exhibition is sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast\, the Gemunder Family Foundation\, and an Anonymous donor. This project is also sponsored in part by the State of Florida\, Department of State\, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts (Section 286.25\, Florida Statutes). \n  \nAbout the Presentation: \nTo the Hallowed Memory of Europe’s Martyred Jews: The Holocaust Art of Arthur Szyk \nThis illustrated presentation pays tribute to the memory of European Jewry through the art of Arthur Szyk\, the leading artist for Jewish rescue in America during the Holocaust. A self-identified “soldier in art\,” Szyk — whom Eleanor Roosevelt called a “one-man army” — fought the Nazis with pen and brush on behalf of the Allies and the Jews of Europe. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Bill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution Exhibition Opens
DESCRIPTION:Bill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution is coming to The Florida Holocaust Museum in the summer of 2018! This iconic exhibition explores the extraordinary life of renowned music promoter Bill Graham (1931- 1991) who helped launch and promote the careers of countless rock & roll artists. Additionally\, this exhibition also traces the indomitable spirit of a man brought to the United States as an eleven-year-old Jewish refugee fleeing the Nazis\, fueling a lifelong passion and advocacy for social justice. \nBill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution is the first comprehensive retrospective about the life and career of renowned music industry impresario Bill Graham. Recognized as one of the most influential concert promoters in history\, Graham launched the careers of countless rock & roll legends in the 1960s at his famed Fillmore Auditorium. He conceived rock & roll as a powerful force for supporting humanitarian causes and was instrumental in the production of milestone benefit concerts such as Live Aid (1985) and Human Rights Now! (1988). As a promoter and manager\, he worked with iconic artists including the Grateful Dead\, Jefferson Airplane\, Janis Joplin\, Jimi Hendrix\, Santana\, Fleetwood Mac\, the Who\, Led Zeppelin\, the Doors\, and the Rolling Stones. \nDue to the increasing peril to Jews in Germany\, Graham’s mother placed her son and her youngest daughter\, Tanya “Tolla”\, in a Berlin orphanage\, which sent them to France in a pre-Holocaust exchange of Jewish children for Christian orphans. Graham’s older sisters Sonja and Ester stayed behind with their mother. After the fall of France\, Graham was among a group of Jewish orphans spirited out of France\, some of whom finally reached the United States. But a majority\, including his sister Tolla\, did not survive the difficult journey. He was one of the One Thousand Children (OTC)\, those mainly Jewish children who managed to flee Hitler and Europe\, and come directly to North America\, but whose parents were forced to stay behind. Nearly all of these OTC parents were killed by the Reich. Graham’s mother died at Auschwitz. Graham had five sisters\, Rita\, Evelyn\, Sonia\, Ester and Tolla\, the elder four whom Survived the Holocaust. \nNamed one of the best museum shows of 2017 by the Chicago Tribune\, The FHM is proud to present this exhibition\, organized and circulated by the Skirball Cultural Center\, Los Angeles\, in association with the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation\, and made possible by the support of Alex Graham\, David Graham\, and Danny Scher. \nBill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution opens to the public on August 18\, 2018 and will be on display through February 10\, 2019 at The Florida Holocaust Museum. \nPresented locally by:

SUMMARY:"Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann" Exhibition Opens
DESCRIPTION:The Florida Holocaust Museum is thrilled to announce the blockbuster exhibition Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann opens on February 10\, 2018! \n“Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann is an extraordinary exhibition. It engages your intellect at the start and tears your heart out by the end.”  -Cleveland Jewish News\n“A Holocaust Museum smash.” -Chicago Tribune\nOperation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann is the first exhibition in the United States to fully document the pursuit\, capture\, extradition\, and trial of a Nazi war criminal. The Florida Holocaust Museum is proud to present this blockbuster exhibition\, co-produced by The Mossad – Israel Secret Intelligence Service; Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People\, Tel Aviv\, Israel; and the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage\, Cleveland\, Ohio. \nFifty-six years ago\, Adolf Eichmann\, who had been in charge of transporting millions of European Jews to death camps\, sat in a courtroom for a trial that would be among the first in history to be completely televised. The trial captivated millions of people across the globe and it was the first time that many of them learned the details of the Holocaust. \nThe dramatic story behind one of the world’s most notorious escaped Nazi war criminals being brought to justice is told using recently declassified artifacts from the Mossad\, Israel’s Secret Intelligence Service. The exhibition includes objects and images made available outside the country for the first time – original 1960s-era artifacts\, photographs\, Telly Award winning films and audio\, as well as contemporary design elements and interactive features\, to tell a story of espionage\, intrigue and\, ultimately\, justice served. \nAlso included in the exhibition is one of the most iconic objects of the century – the bulletproof glass booth in which the accused sat as the courtroom drama was broadcast around the globe. \nDuring World War II\, Eichmann was the key functionary in the Nazis’ attempt to annihilate all of Europe’s 11 million Jews. After the war he disappeared\, but his crimes made him a wanted man. Operation Finale – the code name of Israel’s effort to find him – reveals exactly how Mossad agents located Eichmann in his hiding place in South America\, and how they abducted and smuggled him safely to Israel to stand trial. \nCareer Mossad agent Avner Avraham curated the espionage artifacts featured in Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann. This exhibition is the first time that the recently declassified Mossad materials have been seen outside of Israel. \nOperation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann opens to the public on Saturday\, February 10\, 2018 and is on display through July 15\, 2018 at The Florida Holocaust Museum.  \n  \nOperation Finale: The Capture and Trial of Adolf Eichmann is a co-production of The Mossad – Israel Secret Intelligence Service; Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People\, Tel Aviv\, Israel; and the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage\, Cleveland\, Ohio. \n \nThis exhibition is made possible by a generous grant from the Maltz Family Foundation.  \nLocal support is provided by the Jewish Federation of Pinellas & Pasco Counties. \n***Special docent led group tours of the blockbuster exhibition Operation Finale: The Capture & Trial of Adolf Eichmann are available for an additional $3.00 on Tuesdays\, Wednesdays\, Thursdays\, and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. beginning on February 25\, 2018. Group tours must be booked two weeks in advance. SUMMARY:Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals: 1933‐1945 Exhibition Opening
DESCRIPTION:On display at The Florida Holocaust Museum: April 30 – July 2\, 2017 \nNazi Persecution of Homosexuals 1933–1945 examines the Nazi regime’s attempt to eradicate homosexuality\, which left thousands dead and shattered the lives of many more. \n \nBetween 1933 and 1945\, the Nazi German regime promoted racial health policies that sought to eliminate all sources of biological corruption to its dominant “Aryan” race. Among the groups persecuted as threats to the national health were Germany’s homosexual men. Believing them to be carriers of a “degeneracy” that weakened society and hindered population growth\, the Nazi state arrested and incarcerated in prisons and concentration camps tens of thousands of German men as a means of terrorizing them into social conformity. \nPresented locally by Wells Fargo. \n  \nNazi Persecution of Homosexuals 1933-1945 was produced by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. \n  \nImage credit: US Holocaust Memorial Museum\, courtesy Schwules Museum\, Berlin.

SUMMARY:Opening of "Jehovah’s Witnesses: Faith Under Fire"
DESCRIPTION:Jehovah’s Witnesses: Faith Under Fire is an exhibition that focuses on Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Holocaust.  \nJehovah’s Witnesses\, a Christian community of 35\,000 in Germany and occupied lands\, refused to confirm to the Nazi ideology of hate. They suffered severely for their belief in nonviolence and their utter rejection of racism. Thrown into Nazi camps\, they became eyewitnesses of Nazi genocide. This exhibition documents the story of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Holocaust and provides an in depth look at ordinary people who followed their conscience in the face of tyranny. \nOn display February 18\, 2017 – July 16\, 2017 at The Florida Holocaust Museum.

SUMMARY:Opening of "Holocaust By Bullets"
DESCRIPTION:Holocaust  By  Bullets  features  ten  years  of  field  investigations  in  the  former  Soviet  Union  by  Yahad – In  Unum. Yahad – In Unum\, founded by French Catholic Priest Father Patrick Desbois\, presents its painstaking research in a succinct yet approachable manner that enables the visitor to uncover\, step‐by‐step\, the crime committed against Jews and Roma by the Nazi killing units.  \nKnown as the “Holocaust by Bullets”\, the systematic  killing  of  all  Jews  started  before  the  creation  of  concentration  camps  and  continued  until  WWII‘s end throughout the ex‐Soviet Union from 1942 to 1944.  The exhibit gives viewers a chance to learn about this lesser‐known side of the Holocaust\, through eyewitness testimonies\, photographs\, and maps.  The  exhibit  presents  Yahad’s  identification  of  five  steps  of  the  crime  that  took  place  almost  systematically for every mass killing throughout Eastern Europe leading up to the executions—the arrest\, the road\, the undressing\, the shooting\, and after the executions\, the looting. \nYahad – In Unum is a Paris-based organization dedicated to collecting testimonies of eyewitnesses\, and identifying and documenting sites of mass crimes committed against Jews and Roma by the Germans and their collaborators during World War II in Eastern Europe. Stemming from the initiative of its founder and president\, French Catholic priest Father Patrick Desbois\, since 2004 the organization has identified over 1\,400 execution sites and interviewed close to 4\,000 eyewitnesses in 8 countries. \nFather Desbois has spent his life researching the Holocaust\, fighting antisemitism\, and furthering relations between Catholics and Jews. The exhibition focuses on Father Desbois and Yahad – In Unum’s research in Eastern Europe. \nThe form of genocide detailed by Yahad – In Unum’s exhibition is unlike any other study of genocidal activity ever conducted and presented. \nIn the exhibition\, Yahad – In Unum presents its painstaking 10 years of research in a succinct yet appropriate manner allowing the visitor to uncover\, step-by-step\, the crime committed against Jews and Roma by the Nazi killing units\, their Axis supporters\, and local collaborators in Eastern Europe. \nMass killings in places such as Cambodia\, Darfur\, the Balkans and Syria are modeled after what Yahad’s founder Father Patrick Desbois calls the archetype of these horrors – those village-by-village\, on site massacres – perpetrated by the Nazis and their collaborators. \nThe Florida Holocaust Museum’s Curator of Education & Director of Research Urszula Szczepinska was invited by Yahad – In Unum to create a study guide to be used worldwide in conjunction with the exhibition. SUMMARY:Opening of "The Greatest Crime of the War: The Armenian Genocide During World War I"
DESCRIPTION:The Greatest Crime of the War: The Armenian Genocide During World War I recounts the history of the genocide and the conditions which led to it as well as its legacy. The mass murder of the Armenian people in Anatolia\, now referred to by most historians and human rights organizations as “The Armenian Genocide\,” destroyed a civilization that had resided in Anatolia for thousands of years.  \nOn display January 28\, 2017 – June 25\, 2017 at The Florida Holocaust Museum.

SUMMARY:Opening of "Courage and Compassion: The Legacy of the Bielski Brothers"
DESCRIPTION:An original\, award-winning FHM exhibition\, Courage and Compassion: The Legacy of the Bielski Brothers chronicles the Bielski brothers’ story. This exhibition\, presented nationally by Bank of America\, is a multi-media presentation showcasing the heroic efforts of three brothers who helped save more than 1\,200 people while living in the forest during World War II. \nThree brothers\, Tuvia\, Asael and Zus Bielski\, took refuge from the Nazis in the forests surrounding Novogrudok\, Belarus. In the forest\, they formed a community of men\, women and children that numbered more than 1\,200 by the end of the war. The brothers led the group in acts of sabotage and defense against the Nazis. It is through the brothers’ leadership that the group survived starvation\, harsh winters and the threat of the Nazis and their collaborators. \nDuring World War II\, three of the Bielski brothers ran a Jewish partisan unit in Western Belorussia that saved close to 1\,200 Jews from the ghettos of Novogrudok and Lida and the surrounding countryside.  Their unit or otriad\, as known in Russian\, was unique.  While the great majority of partisan groups in World War II sought to fight the Germans in their midst\,  the Bielski brothers cared more about preserving the lives of as many Jews as possible than they did about attacking the German forces that occupied Western Belorussia.  For more than two years the brothers commanded their partisan unit in the Belorussian forests.  Their acts of rescue during extremely dangerous times stands as a monument to courage and compassion.  The Bielski brothers may be called Upstanders\, individuals willing to put their own lives in danger on behalf of others. This exhibition tells their story.  \nOn display January 14\, 2017 – June 18\, 2017 at The Florida Holocaust Museum.

SUMMARY:Opening of "Matzevot for Everyday Use: Photographs by Łukasz Baksik"
DESCRIPTION:The Florida Holocaust Museum is pleased to present the North American premiere of Matzevot for Everyday Use by Łukasz Baksik. This exhibition features photographs taken in Poland by Polish photographer Łukasz Baksik to document the ways in which Jewish gravestones have been stolen and re-appropriated. The matzevot are now parts of fences\, pavements\, and grindstones. Even today\, the matzevot continue to be used in cases where ordinary stone\, of which there is no shortage\, could be used. \nThe photographer wishes to illuminate the lengths that “people have gone to wipe out traces of Jewish culture” and to start a dialogue about how people can live in the midst of relics of antisemitism\, ignoring their shared history with a community that is no longer there. The showing of Matzevot for Everyday Use at The Florida Holocaust Museum will be the North American premiere of the exhibition. \nThe opening reception will take place on Saturday\, October 15\, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and is free to members of The Florida Holocaust Museum and $9 per person for guests. Attendees will meet with the photographer Łukasz Baksik and enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres. Please RSVP by calling 727.820.0100\, extension 271.  \nMatzevot for Everyday Use by Łukasz Baksik opens to the public on Saturday\, October 15\, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at The Florida Holocaust Museum. The Florida Holocaust Museum is located at 55 5th Street S\, St. Petersburg\, FL 33701.  \nFor an exhibition study guide for educators\, click here. \nThis exhibition is made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Gemunder Family Foundation\, with additional support from the Jewish Federation of Pinellas and Pasco Counties.

SUMMARY:Helen Suzman: Fighter for Human Rights
DESCRIPTION:Helen Suzman: Fighter for Human Rights tells the story of Suzman’s rise as the leading Member of Parliament to oppose apartheid legislation during 36 years of public service. Meticulously selected photographs\, personal letters\, speeches\, political cartoons and news articles convey the tremendous strength she demonstrated while facing constant animosity\, antisemitism and intimidation from other South African Parliamentarians\, colleagues and citizens. \n \nHelen Suzman was one of South Africa’s most vociferous and energetic opponents of apartheid. She takes pride of place among those who devoted their lives to the fight for human rights and the rule of law in South Africa. From the start of a political career that spanned almost four decades\, she worked tirelessly\, never flinching from challenging the pernicious system created by apartheid. \nHelen Suzman’s struggle against ruling National Party\, both within and outside of Parliament\, was relentless and often lonely. For thirteen years (1961-1974)\, she was the only Member of Parliament from the Progressive Party. Against great odds in Parliament\, she resisted the pro-apartheid government. Although she represented an affluent White constituency\, she saw herself as an “honorary ombudsman for all those people who have no vote and no Member of Parliament.” Her contribution to the pursuit of justice in South Africa received overwhelming recognition at home and abroad. Twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize\, her valiant stand against the injustices of the apartheid regime was acknowledged by numerous institutions. \nHelen Suzman’s tenacious fight for human rights led her to a great friendship with Nelson Mandela. “She is a person appreciated by all South Africans\,” wrote Mandela on the occasion of Helen’s 90th birthday in November 2007. “Her courage\, integrity and principled commitment to justice have marked her as one of the outstanding figures of our history.”

SUMMARY:Beaches\, Benches and Boycotts: The Civil Rights Movement in Tampa Bay
DESCRIPTION:An original exhibition of The Florida Holocaust Museum. \nThe focus of most Civil Rights history is written about places like Alabama and Mississippi\, as if few challenges occurred elsewhere. Tampa Bay remained racially segregated at the dawn of the Civil Rights era and many local institutions and establishments held out on integration for several years after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Brown vs. the Board of Education.  \nUnder “Jim Crow” every aspect of African American life in Tampa\, St. Petersburg\, Sarasota and their surrounding cities was segregated.  Restricted covenants were in place that segregated residential neighborhoods.   African American children had to attend segregated schools that were under-funded and often in disrepair.  Blacks could only be cared for at “Black only” hospitals\, and other public and private establishments like restaurants and beaches were often segregated – if blacks were allowed in at all.  \nThe Civil Rights Movement in Tampa Bay may have had characteristics similar to other areas of the South but its stories are its own. This exhibition will illuminate our region’s struggle with racial equality and shine a light on the local leaders who changed our cities. \nSHIRLEY CURTIS AND WIFE 125 YEARS: TAMPA BAY THROUGH THE TIMESimg0002701Aimg0002698AIMG0002692A\nPresented by: \n \n  \nMedia partners: \n \n \n \n  \nAdditional support provided by:

SUMMARY:This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement
DESCRIPTION:This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement\, an exhibition of the Center for Documentary Expression and Art\, presents the Civil Rights Movement through the work and voices of nine activist photographers – men and women who chose to document the national struggle against segregation and other forms of race-based disenfranchisement from within the movement. \nUnlike images produced by photojournalists who covered breaking news events\, most of the photographers in this exhibition were affiliated with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and documents its activities by focusing on the student activists and local people who together made the movement happen. \nThe exhibition is comprised of 157 black and white photographs\, the majority of which were taken in Mississippi and Alabama between 1963 and 1966. \nThis Light of Ours is an exhibition organized by the Center for Documentary Expression and Art.  Major support for the exhibition has been provided by the Bruce W. I want\, I think we all want\, for it to be a simple\, beautifully elegant thing\, but the more you draw from it\, it begins to look more like despair\, or re‐purposed despair. There is a similar reasoning behind starting a new work of art.” —Shapira \nHope “casts” light on the gravity of Israeli‐American artist Aithan Shapira’s recent work. Shapira asks what hope looks like today\, and has created a universal symbol from an abandoned life preserver. His subject matter spans more than a decade across three continents tackling conflicting fields of view\, whether simultaneously addressing two sides of a wall or matters of migration or of false hope. Over the years\, the abandoned life preserver has evolved in his work: one cut from discarded cardboard\, another painted in a fox trap\, and in this recent series\, he cast hundreds in concrete for those who it is too late to save. \nFor Shapira\, hope anchors 2015 political\, economic\, and environmental campaigns; it is the driving force for personal ambitions under the stresses of the current global climate; hope is simultaneously the aspiration to end wars and the catalyst to begin them—a measure of human life. “It’s the poetry of human potential\,” he remarks about the exhibit. Hope is a vision for art and our generation’s ability to make societal and cultural change. “My work is not about me\, it is a mirror of us\, and it does not show what we are but reflects what we can become.” \nThe exhibition is on loan from the artist.

SUMMARY:Perpetrators: Lithographs by Sid Chafetz
DESCRIPTION:Artist and master printmaker Sid Chafetz dedicated his career to creating art of profound social significance. In Perpetrators\, he created a series of portraits of the “ordinary people” who executed Hitler’s ghoulish plans. Perpetrators depicts the complicity of industrialists\, businessmen\, soldiers\, churchmen\, physicians\, lawyers and bureaucrats who implemented and executed the Nazis’ diabolical schemes. \nThe message is clear: The Holocaust happened and these are the kinds of people who did it. Implicit is a warning: It could happen again. Be vigilant and know that we can be manipulated by our political leaders. \nPerpetrators is a traveling exhibition of The Florida Holocaust Museum.

SUMMARY:Richard Heipp: Germanic Guilt Symbols
DESCRIPTION:Richard Heipp’s photorealist paintings combine personal and cultural symbols of fear and security with images from historic photos used in the German race propaganda of the 1930s and 40s. A descendant of German immigrants and professor of art at the University of Florida\, Heipp says that his provocative Germanic Guilt series “addresses autobiographical concerns dealing with [his] cultural heritage.” \nHe works through issues of his own identity by using his likeness in the paintings layered over those of what the Nazis viewed as stereotypical Jews. At the same time\, the works focus on the potential of one group to dehumanize and victimize another. \nThe exhibition is on loan from the artist.
