Mr. Magidson’s primary area of practice is civil trial work\, with extensive work in commercial cases\, and probate\, estate and trust litigation. This program is an important step in learning how to become an Upstander in our community today. \nIn partnership with The Butterfly Project and Menorah Life\, participants will paint ceramic butterflies alongside Menorah Life residents—creating a powerful connection that spans generations. Each painted butterfly serves as a beautiful\, symbolic memorial to a life lost\, and all completed butterflies will be assembled into a permanent commemorative mural to be displayed at Menorah Life. \nTo provide gentle and respectful context\, the program will begin with a brief\, age-appropriate documentary about the Holocaust. \nThe Butterfly Project is a call to action through education\, the arts\, and memorial making. Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí\, Figueres\, 2026.\n\n\nIn partnership with The Dalí Museum\nExplore the themes and significance of the exhibition Dalí’s Aliyah with Peter Tush during a conversation held at The Florida Holocaust Museum. \nFHM Members: FREE | Not-Yet Members: $5.00 \n Reserve Your Spot Today\nAbout Dalí’s Aliyah:In 1966\, Samuel Shore of Shorewood Publishers commissioned Salvador Dalí to create a series of twenty-five paintings marking Israel’s twentieth anniversary\, depicting the renewal of the Jewish people. Dalí completed the mixed media originals in gouache\, watercolor\, and ink\, drawing on both the Hebrew Bible and contemporary history\, and they were reproduced as lithographs in a limited edition of 250 sets\, each accompanied by a letter from David Ben-Gurion. Titled Aliyah\, the series was finished in 1968 for Israeli Independence Day. After being exhibited and sold that year\, the works were dispersed\, leaving only a handful of complete sets known today. \n \n\nPETER TUSH \nPeter Tush is Curator and Senior Interpreter at The Dalí Museum\, St. Petersburg\, Florida. \nHe earned his bachelor’s degree in Art History from New College of Florida and his master’s degree in Art History from the University of South Florida. \nFor more than two decades\, Tush has played a central role in interpreting the Museum’s Dalí collection and developing special exhibitions. His work includes training docents; writing audio guides and gallery texts; collaborating with curatorial colleagues on exhibitions; and working closely with the education department. Recent curatorial projects include Where Ideas Come From: Dalí’s Drawings and Reimagining Nature: Dalí’s Floral Fantasies. Tush has taught courses such as Dalí\, Surrealism\, and Film and has lectured widely on Dalí and Surrealism\, with topics including Dalí and Hollywood\, Surrealism and Women\, and Dalí’s Ghosts. \nIn addition to his museum work\, Tush co-hosts Step Outside\, an experimental music program airing Wednesday nights from 8:00–10:00 p.m. on WMNF 88.5 FM Community Radio in Tampa\, Florida.

DESCRIPTION:Kristallnacht owes its name to the shards of shattered glass from broken windows that lined German streets on November 9-10 in 1938. \nThroughout the night\, thousands of Jewish owned businesses\, homes\, and synagogues were ransacked and destroyed in a coordinated series of attacks throughout Germany. \nThis was the first widespread use of massive force against Jews by the Nazi regime and figures as an essential turning point in Nazi Germany. \nTo commemorate Kristallnacht and honor its victims\, admission to The FHM will be free on November 9. DESCRIPTION:Presented in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League and the St. Petersburg World Affairs Council \n Reserve Tickets Today  \n \nFREE Lecture and Conversation with Oren Segal\, Senior Vice President of Counter-Extremism and Intelligence at ADL \nAs Senior Vice President of Counter-Extremism and Intelligence\, Oren Segal leads ADL’s efforts to combat extremism\, terrorism\, and all forms of hate\, both online and offline. He oversees an integrated team of investigators\, analysts\, and experts from the Center on Extremism (COE)\, the Center for Technology and Society (CTS)\, and Law Enforcement (LE) teams. The Center on Extremism leverages cutting-edge tools and decades of expertise to provide essential data\, analysis\, and resources on extremism\, antisemitism\, and hate to policymakers\, industry leaders\, and the public. COE collaborates closely with ADL’s Law Enforcement team to protect communities by offering intelligence\, threat analysis\, and training to law enforcement agencies. The Center for Technology & Society focuses on combating antisemitism\, hate and harassment across digital platforms\, such as social media and online games\, through research\, advocacy\, and partnerships with the tech industry\, civil society\, and affected communities. \n  \n
