DESCRIPTION:Voices of Survival: Conversations with Survivors and Their Descendants\n \nIncluded with your admission to The FHM\nJoin us Sundays at 1:00 p.m. for live testimonies from Holocaust Survivors and their descendants\, included with your admission to The FHM\, on The Museum’s Third Floor. \nDiane Mandell is the daughter of two Holocaust Survivors. Her father\, Ed\, was in the Warsaw Ghetto. His mother tried to arrange a rescue operation\, but he was abandoned by a man who was supposed to help him. Eventually\, Ed ended up in an orphanage and was reunited with his mother after the war. Diane’s mother\, Halina\, survived the Holocaust passing as a Catholic child in a Polish village.

Razed shares the powerful first-hand stories of those who lost their homes and challenges us to consider the true cost of redevelopment. \n\n\n  \n  \nFREE For All Guests \n Reserve Your Spot Today\n \nFollowing the screening\, join filmmaker Andrew Lee for a panel discussion with Gwendolyn Reese (producer\, historian\, former resident\, and cast member)\, Sandy Katz Brasch (daughter of the owners of Katz Grocery\, a Jewish-owned business in the Gas Plant Neighborhood)\, and former resident Carlos Lovett as they reflect on the neighborhood’s legacy\, the impact of displacement\, and the importance of preserving community history. \n  \n\nANDREW LEE\nAndrew Lee is the founder and creative director of Roundhouse Creative Studio\, a premier creative agency and video production studio in St. Petersburg\, FL that has been telling stories with purpose since 2007. He is the director of Razed.   \nGWENDOLYN REESE\nGwendolyn Reese is the President of the African American Heritage Association of St. Petersburg\, FL\, Inc.\, the President and CEO of Peaten Reese Peaten Consulting\, Inc.\, a local griot\, and a child of the Gas Plant Neighborhood. She is a producer of Razed.   \nSANDY KATZ BRASCH\nSandy Katz Brasch is the proud daughter of Abe and Bunnie Katz\, owners of the former Katz Grocery\, located in the Gas Plant neighborhood at 1056 3rd Avenue South. Sandy spent 10 years working in this family business\, which was a hub of activity in the neighborhood for over 50 years.  \nCARLOS LOVETT\nCarlos Lovett is an IC Teacher at Northeast High School with 30 years of service in Pinellas County Schools. He is an ordained minister and trauma-informed coach who works with individuals affected by childhood trauma\, systemic racism\, and substance use recovery.
