“Ever Present: Candles and Chance in the Art of Samuel Bak” Opening Day

The exhibition focuses on two recent series "Ner Ot" and the "Art of Chance" produced by Holocaust survivor and artist Samuel Bak. The title of the former, "Ner Ot" is presented as two words. In Hebrew the word ner means candle and nerot means candles (plural). When divided into two words, ot alone means symbol. 

International Holocaust Remembrance Day – Free Admission and Virtual Testimony with Holocaust Survivor Hani (Helen) Kahan

Join us online for a special lunch and learn as we observe International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Auschwitz-Birkenau survivor Helen Kahan will recount her experience during the Holocaust. Mrs. Kahan will be featured in the interactive Dimensions in Testimony (SM) exhibition later this year. Admission to The FHM on January 27 will be free all day.
