Pardoll Family Lecture Program: “Why Have We Failed To Prevent Genocide?” Featuring Featuring Dr. Gregory H. Stanton

Gregory H. Stanton is the Founding President of Genocide Watch (www.genocidewatch.com & www.genocidewatch.org), the founder of the Cambodian Genocide Project, and the founder of the Alliance Against Genocide. He was the President of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS.) While in the US State Department, he drafted the UN Security Council Resolutions that created the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. He received the W. Averell Harriman Award for “extraordinary contributions to the practice of diplomacy exemplifying intellectual courage” based on his dissent from US policy in the Rwandan genocide.
