Listening to Elie Wiesel: A Day of Reflection & Action
A Global Day of Reflection & Action | July 2, 2025

Professor Elie Wiesel was a Holocaust survivor, Nobel Laureate, and fierce advocate for memory, justice, and the Jewish people. But this is not a day for quiet remembrance. It is a call to listen, reflect, and act.
We still have his voice.
Now, it’s time the world listens.

Why Now?
If Elie Wiesel were here today, he would not be silent in the face of rising antisemitism and Holocaust distortion. He would speak clearly and courageously—as he always did—against bigotry, apathy, and the falsification of history.

In early 2024, The FHM was chosen by the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity as the home to Elie Wiesel’s personal collection, which includes his Nobel Prize, manuscripts, correspondence, artwork, and recordings. This future exhibit and international traveling exhibition will highlight Wiesel’s impact as a professor, humanitarian, and literary giant, while also shining a light on the contributions of Marion Wiesel, Holocaust survivor, humanitarian, and translator whose dedication helped shape and share his work with the world.
