Heroes of the Holocaust – Priests and Nuns

Retired professor and lecturer Howard Kerner will virtually present “Heroes of the Holocaust – Priests and Nuns” on Thursday, August 27th at 1:00 p.m. on The Florida Holocaust Museum’s YouTube channel, followed by live Q&A.

During the Holocaust, finding an individual or an organization ready to help Jewish victims was very hard. Most Jews had no one to turn to for help. Among those few who at great risk rescued Jews were Catholic priests and nuns. Join us for an uplifting presentation on human goodness, as we share the stories of these brave men and women.

About the Presenter:

Howard Kerner is a recently retired English professor who has spent the last 25 years researching unknown people who performed acts of kindness and nobility during the Holocaust. His latest project involves recently discovered facts about Anne Frank and her family. He continues to create new programs that highlight noble people and the kindness in humanity.
