Had Gadya: A Dialogue Between The Florida Holocaust Museum and Tampa Museum of Art
Virtual Lecture and Q&A
Thursday, September 10, 2020 | 6:30-7:30pm
Together, The Florida Holocaust Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art invite their members and guests to join them for a virtual program highlighting “Had Gadya,” the children’s song highlighted at the end of the Passover seder.
Join Erin Blankenship, Director of Collections and Interpretation at The FHM, and Joanna Robotham, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at TMA, as they discuss artists’ interpretations of “Had Gadya” and the song’s significance at Passover. This dialogue is inspired by The FHM’s collection and the upcoming exhibition exploring the art of Arthur Szyk, as well as the show Frank Stella: Illustrations after El Lissitzky’s Had Gadya, from the Collection of BNY Mellon, currently on view at TMA.
