The FHM’s Lawyers of Conscience Presents: CLE Program “The Nuremberg Trials”

$100The Florida Holocaust Museum and The FHM’s Lawyers of Conscience invites you to attend a special Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program about the Nuremberg Trials on Tuesday, October 2nd at 3:30 p.m. at The Florida Holocaust Museum.

Presenters: Professor Thaddeus Hoffmeister from the University of Dayton and Professor Roberta Flowers from Stetson University College of Law
CLE Credits: Approved by the Florida Bar for 2 General CLE Credits and 1 Ethics Credit
Certification Credits: 2 each in the areas of Appellate Practice, Criminal Appellate Practice, Criminal Trial Law, International Law, and International Litigation & Arbitration
CJE Accreditation: Applied for and pending

Syllabus: In the first hour, Prof. Hoffmeister will address the legal and jurisdictional elements as well as the criminal charges and defenses presented at the Nuremberg Trial. Followed by a Q&A period.
In the second hour, Prof. Flowers will address the ethical implications of prosecuting and defending ideological clients such as war criminals and terrorists. Much of this section will be in the form of a interactive discussion.
