The Memory Project

-The core exhibit interweaves a Holocaust survivor’s story of the brother she lost with images of her daughter’s painted portraits of that boy. The nine portraits, adjacent to the videos, enable viewers to shift back and forth from witness to audience. Larger-scale portraits and wall panels continue the excavation of the visual, historical and emotional realities of loss, trauma and transformation.
Exhibition is on loan from the artist.
