Speak Up, Speak Now! ® is now available online!
The core of the program is Holocaust history from which, under the educators’ guidance, students draw age-appropriate lessons that are relevant in their lives today. Teachers can now lead this program on their own in their classrooms by following our suggested learning units – or use any of the resources from the program to supplement their lessons.
The Speak Up, Speak Now! ® Learning Portal includes:
- Lesson plans for teachers with suggested weekly lessons
- Discussions and activities that examine concepts such as: identity, us and them, bystander, upstander, universe of obligation, prejudice, stereotypes, and propaganda
- Testimony from Holocaust survivors and their descendants
-
Art activities
Teachers can also request a live virtual session by an Educator from The FHM for their class. In-person Educator lessons are only available in the Tampa Bay area until further notice.
