Philip Peper was a survivor of the Holocaust who was born in Holland. He was a member of the Dutch Underground, which was a resistance movement that operated in the Netherlands during World War II. He helped forge passports and identification cards for the underground. He also made a hiding place for himself and his family in the attic of his house.
