In Memory of Edward (Ed) Herman
Honoring the Life of Ed Hermann
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Holocaust survivor Ed Hermann.
Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1931, Ed survived the Warsaw Ghetto, displacement across borders, and years of separation from his family. As a child, he navigated unimaginable loss and uncertainty, yet his life bore witness to extraordinary resilience and courage. After the war, Ed rebuilt his life, earning a PhD in economics, raising a family, and ultimately settling in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In 2021, Ed shared his story through The Florida Holocaust Museum’s Dimensions in Testimony℠ experience. Through this powerful technology, his voice, memories, and lessons will continue to educate and inspire visitors for generations to come.
We are honored to help carry his testimony forward and to ensure his story is never forgotten.
May his memory be for a blessing.
