In Memory of Oscar Singer
The Florida Holocaust Museum is saddened by the loss of Oscar Singer, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 100.
As a teenager, Oscar survived multiple Nazi camps, where he endured forced labor, starvation, and unthinkable brutality.
After he was liberated on his 20th birthday, Oscar rebuilt his life. He became a skilled chef, a devoted husband to his wife Elaine, a loving father and grandfather, and a proud member of the Pittsburgh community.
In recent years, Oscar shared his story with countless students through The FHM’s Speakers’ Bureau, ensuring that future generations learn the lessons of the Holocaust.
May his memory be for a blessing.
