STATEMENT: Antisemitic Shooting at Bondi Beach, Australia
The Florida Holocaust Museum is heartbroken by the terrorist shooting in Bondi Beach, the latest incident in a global wave of antisemitic violence that continues to plague the Jewish community.
As The Museum teaches, such violence is the contemporary manifestation of hate that stretches back millennia, born of ignorance, envy, and spite. Fighting it requires people of every background to recognize our common humanity and act to protect it.
As always, the safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff remains The Museum’s top priority. We will continue to serve as a protected space for education, community, and advocacy in a world that desperately needs to internalize the lessons of the Holocaust.
