Thank You, Tampa Bay!

What an incredible night. Thanks to our generous supporters, we raised $1.6 million to further our mission of preserving history, educating future generations, and standing against hate.

As one of Tampa Bay’s premier events, over 500 prominent community members and business leaders came together to support The Museum’s  mission.

To Life has always been The Florida Holocaust Museum’s largest source of unrestricted operating funds, ensuring the delivery of our educational resources to teachers, students, and learners of all ages.

2026 Legacy Award

The Florida Holocaust Survivors
We honor all of Florida’s Holocaust Survivors for not only surviving, but for living with courage, dignity, and conviction that their stories must light the way forward. May we always hold their light high.
Legacy Award presented by Stacy Conroy – Board Chair, The FHM

2026 Loebenberg Humanitarian Award

Urban Ahlin – Ambassador of Sweden to the United States
The FHM is proud to recognize the Swedish people’s courage, compassion, and humane actions during the Holocaust. During World War II, Sweden maintained official neutrality while becoming a haven for many refugees, including Jews fleeing persecution during the Holocaust. Specifically, during a three-week period in October 1943, 300 fishing boats just like Thor smuggled out 7,200+ Jews and 700 family members who were not Jewish to safety. That was more than 90% of Denmark’s Jews. Often, the passengers were hidden below deck and underneath fish.
Award presented by Sandy Loebenberg-Mermelstein – Founder, Loebenberg Humanitarian Award | Board Member, The FHM

Antisemitic incidents continue to keep reaching all-time highs, fed by a rise in Holocaust denial and distortion. The mission of The Florida Holocaust Museum has never been more important and the need for Holocaust education never more critical. With your support, The FHM continues to speak out against hatred.

Together, we can fight antisemitism and other forms of hatred.
