Who Can Volunteer?

  • The minimum age to volunteer at The FHM is 15 years old.
  • We welcome individuals of all backgrounds who are passionate about history, education, and making a difference.
  • Training is provided—no prior museum experience is required.

  • Gallery Guardians – Provide support in the galleries and help ensure a respectful and welcoming environment.
  • Dimensions in Testimony℠ – Guide conversations with guests and Holocaust Survivors in this groundbreaking interactive exhibit.
  • Administrative/Office Support – Assist behind the scenes at The FHM.
  • Event Greeters – Welcome guests at programs and special events.
  • Gift Shop Assistants – Help visitors select meaningful items to remember their experience.
  • Admissions Support – Assist with guest check-in and ticketing.
