December has been a month full of fascinating events and impactful moments at The FHM. We’re excited to share some recent highlights from our programs:
Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire: Community members joined us for a special screening of Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire, followed by a special post-film discussion and audience Q&A with Oren Rudavsky, the film’s Writer, Director and Producer.
Survivor Chanukah Luncheons: Holocaust Survivors from all over the state gathered to celebrate Chanukah during this month’s Chanukah Luncheons in Sarasota and St. Petersburg.
Family Memory and Identity: Dr. Serafima Velkovich, Head of the Family Roots Research Section at Yad Vashem Archives, joined us for a discussion on the role of family memory in the search for identity.
