Voices of The FHM

Introducing Voices of The FHM

Stories for the Future

A new storytelling series from The Florida Holocaust Museum, featuring echoes from the past and voices from today. These narratives are meant to preserve memory, deepen understanding, and inspire us to be advocates for change.

Stories shape who we are today – and how we choose to be tomorrow.

Voices of The FHM is our newest way to honor memory as well as the work of the Upstanders from yesteryear and today who inspire us all.

Welcome to Voices of The FHM

At The Florida Holocaust Museum, stories are at the heart of everything we do. They connect us to history, to humanity, and to the lessons that continue to shape our future. For decades, The FHM has worked to preserve and share the testimony of Holocaust Survivors, safeguard artifacts, and invite guests and community members to engage and learn alongside us.

Why Stories Matter (Especially Now)

We live in a world where hatred and intolerance continue to threaten the values of humanity. Yet, every day, we witness the power individuals hold to combat ignorance and inspire change.

Through storytelling, we can carry those memories forward and use them to guide our actions.

Here’s How You Can Get Involved

  • Read: Follow the series to hear fresh perspectives and insights.
  • Share: Amplify these messages by sharing them with your networks.
  • Reflect: Let each story prompt you to rethink what you know and how you can help.
  • Advocate: Stand up for your fellow humans, whenever and wherever you see the need.

Becoming Part of the Story

Voices of The FHM will unfold throughout the year via blog posts and social media features. Each installment will spotlight a new voice that inspires us and deepens our understanding.

By reading and sharing these stories, we invite you to become part of the story.

“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”Anne Frank
